- Ash Wednesday, February 22nd, marks the beginning of Lent. Services of Holy Eucharist Rite 1 with the imposition of ashes will be at Noon and 6:00 pm.
- Wednesdays at 9:00 pm in Lent, beginning on Wednesday, March 1 join us for Compline Live Stream on Facebook Live, or on our Parish Website, christchurchforesthill.org. Compline is the evening Daily Prayer Office before bedtime.
- Wednesday Compline will feature readings from Toward the Kingdom of Heaven by Amy Jill Levine, 40 daily Readings on the Sermon on the Mount. You can purchase a copy here.
Lent is a season of the church for all Christians to devote themselves to ” self-examination and repentance; prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and reading and meditating on God’s Holy Word.” (BCP 265) May all of us at Rock Spring Parish find this Lent to be a time of refreshment and renewal in our life in Christ Jesus!
